Mercerised cotton is cotton treated to improve softness, sheen and resistance to creasing while retaining the natural properties of the fibre.

Stenströms is a renowned Swedish premium shirtmaker. Each Stenströms shirt goes through approximately 60 production stages, with around 25 stages dedicated to the collar alone.

Founded by August Stenström in Helsingborg in 1899, the brand began as a tailoring workshop before expanding into larger-scale shirt production. By 1912, it had become the largest shirt factory in Scandinavia.

Since 1962, the brand has held a prestigious royal warrant and supplies clothing to the Swedish royal court.
